Objectives:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the shipping industry to generate leads.
  • Engage prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media.
  • Conduct effective discovery calls to understand prospect needs and qualify them as potential opportunities.
  • Schedule qualified meetings and demos for our Account Executives to further pursue and close sales.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage lead generation activities and update prospect information.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and optimize lead generation efforts.

Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with prospects.
  • Persistent and goal-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate the value proposition of our products and services.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and lead generation tools is a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in sales, lead generation, or customer service roles is an asset.
  • Experience in the shipping industry or SaaS industry is a plus.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and performance.
  • Commission or bonus structure based on achieving lead generation targets
Physical Requirements:
  • This position primarily involves office-based work, including computer usage and phone communication.
